About me
Rick Yen is a second-year Ph.D. student at School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology. He works with Prof. Chin-Hui Lee on Speech and Language Processing. He received the B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University, Taipei, in 2020.
He was also a research intern at Mitsubishi Electric Research Laboratories (MERL), and AIML ASR-Understanding intern at Apple.
Prior to Georgia Tech, he was working on machine learning and speech processing at Institute of Information Science, Academia Sinica, Taipei. His research interests include automatic speech attribute transcription, multi-lingual speech recognition, low resource speech recognition, keyword information extraction, speech enhancement, and acoustic scene classification.
